Welcome to the sunny village Terenten in South Tyrol
     

We, the Engl-Weger family, are happy to welcome you in our Haus Wieseneck in Terenten, in the Gitschberg Jochtal Ski & Almen region.

It will be our pleasure to make your stay at our guest house as relaxing, comfortable and restful as possible. We take pride in fulfilling your requests: We would like you to feel at home with us in a friendly atmosphere. Our apartment is located on the 1st floor, you may contact us with requests and questions at any time.
     
 
     

Haus Wieseneck was built in 1973. The most recent renovation of the house and the apartments took place in 2006. Since 1975, we provide vacation apartments for rent and are happy to welcome many long-time and loyal guests every year.
The house is situated in a sunny and quiet location near the Terenten village center (5 minutes away by foot). The house has plenty of parking and car ports available. The large garden is ideal for families with children and provides a nice backdrop for your grill party. If you are a fan of "Selfness", the Engl-Weger family will be happy to advise you.
     
 
     
Terenten is called the Sunny Village (Sonnendorf). It is the village with the most hours of daily sunshine in Southtyrol. In winter time the sun shines from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and in summer time from 4 a.m. to 8 p.m.. That is why a proverb says "in Terento the sun never sets".
Apart from a lot of sunshine we can also offer many cultural events including the local music orchestral concert and the performances of the folk dancers. Thanks to the farmers diligence the environment is preserved and the population still today stands by old traditions like processions and marches, concerts, fire brigade and music festivals, church fair and driving the cattle down from the mountain pastures in autumn. Many great activities and events for the guests to participate in regarding these old traditions.
